You can find everything important about your contract under "My insurance protection". So you always know exactly which services are insured.

The electronic health record (EGA) is also available to all fully insured customers. We offer you this free of charge in cooperation with IBM Deutschland GmbH. In the EGA you can record important health data such as vaccination passes and medication plans and receive recommendations for preventive examinations. So you always have quick access to your health information - worldwide and at any time.

In addition, you can request the treatment data of the Generali directly from the Generali over the past 4 years and have it transferred to your EGA.

Of course, the use of the EGA is voluntary and corresponds to the latest data protection: You determine what information you want to manage. Your data is stored in encrypted form on German servers.

You do not have to send the Generali to the Generali by post via the app. However, the Generali reserves the right to request submitted invoices to check separately in individual cases; Therefore, you should keep your original invoices for at least six months.

An existing insurance contract at Generali Deutschland Krankenversicherung AG is necessary for the use of the health app. The prerequisite for using the app is a one -time registration with your insurance number. In order to be able to send receipts from the app to the Generali, you need an internet connection (e.g. W-LAN or mobile data connection). The cost of data transfer when sending invoice is based on the tariffs of your network provider.

Experience has shown that you can use all the functions of the health app if the device meets the following requirements:

- Our support includes Android 8.0 or higher

- RAM: at least 1.1 gigabytes or more

If the RAM of your smartphone or tablet is less than 1.1 gigabytes, you cannot install the health app.

- Camera resolution: at least 8 megapixels. The photo function is not available for cameras with a lower resolution. You should be able to fully use all other functions of the health app.
